About All The Best
From the time they brought home their first Akita puppy in 1980, Susan and Ira Moss were dedicated to learning about what it takes to keep companion animals healthy. The show ring taught them that radiant dogs with beautiful coats were achieved through high meat diets and supplements, and that beauty was vibrant health glowing from within. Later, when one of their Akitas was diagnosed with cancer, they learned first hand about the transformative power of nutrition. A diet of raw foods recommended by a holistic vet restored their beloved dog to health. It became their goal to share what they had learned with their friends and community and to provide the very best foods, supplements, and treats along with the most cutting-edge information available. With that in mind, the Mosses opened their first store in 1985 on Lake City Way in Seattle, carrying health and specialty foods for pets. Today, each All The Best stores is a neighborhood gathering place where pets are celebrated and customers are introduced to a progressive nutritional philosophy.
All The Best’s pet care specialists are highly trained in all of their products so they can find the perfect items for each particular pet’s needs. In addition to education, they are highly committed to making sure every product they carry is the very best. Before they bring any food in, they assess the company’s reputation, the ingredients and sourcing, and test it on their own pets.
They believe they are in the “love and happiness” business. They truly care about dogs and cats as much as their own humans do. Empowering their customers to offer their pets happier and healthier lives drives what they do.

Every All The Best store has a donation bin all year round to collect donations for local rescues. Additionally, every November, they partner with pet food supplies to match donations and donate tens of thousands of dollars worth of food to rescues. They support people in their communities as well, offering auction baskets of pet supplies to community and nonprofit fundraising events
They are a member of the Pet Sustainability Coalition and have their own internal Green Team to look for ways to become a more sustainable company and impact their communities in a positive way.
